Flooring Surgeons: A Complete Guide to Flooring, Fitting and Ways to Save

If you are searching for Flooring Surgeons, you are probably comparing flooring for a renovation, new home or commercial project and want to know what the company sells, how its fitting service works and whether it offers good value.

Flooring Surgeons is a UK flooring retailer based in Halesowen, near Birmingham. It specialises in laminate, engineered wood, solid wood and luxury vinyl flooring, while also offering herringbone, parquet and chevron designs.

What is Flooring Surgeons?

Flooring Surgeons is a UK flooring retailer and fitting specialist based in the West Midlands.

Its range includes laminate flooring, engineered wood, solid wood, luxury vinyl flooring, herringbone, parquet, chevron flooring and accessories.

Flooring Surgeons laminate flooring

Laminate is one of the strongest categories in the Flooring Surgeons range.

Current products include standard planks and herringbone designs, with options that may be pet friendly, scratch resistant, water resistant and compatible with underfloor heating.

Engineered wood flooring

Engineered wood combines a real timber surface with a stable layered core.

It can be a good option for customers who want genuine wood but need greater stability than traditional solid timber.

Solid wood flooring

Solid wood is made from a single piece of timber and offers a natural appearance and long service life.

It requires more careful installation because it responds more strongly to moisture and temperature changes.

Luxury vinyl flooring

Luxury vinyl flooring, or LVT, is designed to replicate materials such as wood and stone while being easy to maintain.

Check the wear layer, installation type, water resistance and underfloor-heating compatibility before ordering.

Herringbone and parquet flooring

Flooring Surgeons also sells herringbone, parquet and chevron flooring.

These layouts create greater visual impact but normally require more cutting and waste than straight plank installation.

How much extra flooring should you order?

Flooring Surgeons recommends ordering approximately 5–10% extra flooring to allow for cutting, waste and future repairs.

More complicated room shapes or patterned installations may require a larger allowance.

Flooring Surgeons samples

Customers can currently order three free flooring samples, with extra samples costing 99p each.

Samples are useful for checking colour, texture and finish under the actual lighting in your home.

Flooring Surgeons fitting service

Professional fitting is currently available across the West Midlands.

Customers elsewhere in the UK can still buy flooring for delivery and arrange installation separately.

Flooring Surgeons delivery

Flooring Surgeons delivers to mainland England, Wales and selected areas of Scotland.

Current delivery times are typically 2–3 business days for England and Wales and 3–4 business days for Scotland.

Deliveries are kerbside, so someone should be available to inspect and move the flooring.

Free delivery

Flooring orders over £500 currently qualify for free delivery to mainland England.

Smaller orders and deliveries to Wales or Scotland are subject to separate charges.

Flooring Surgeons returns

Eligible unopened flooring packs can currently be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Products must remain in original packaging, clean and in a resalable condition.

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return transport.
