Cookie policy
How cookies and browser storage support saved offers, code feedback and website features.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small value a website asks your browser to store and send back with later requests. Local storage keeps information in that browser until it is removed. UK rules on storage and access technologies can apply to both, not just to files called cookies.
This page describes storage identified in the current redesign. It is an information page, not a consent button, and continuing to browse does not by itself give consent for optional tracking.
Remembering your saved offers
Local storage: vbr.saved.v1
When you save an offer, this stores its reference, brief details and the time it was saved. The list holds up to 100 offers and stays in that browser until you remove entries or clear the website's data. It is used to provide the saved-list feature you choose to use.
You can remove offers in Your saved offers. The list is not an account and does not automatically follow you to another device.
Remembering code feedback
Cookie: __Host-vbr_feedback · Up to one year
The code-feedback feature sets a random identifier when it checks for an existing response. It uses that identifier to remember your choice and help prevent repeated votes for the same offer. The cookie contains neither your name nor your email address.
It is sent over a secure connection and cannot be read by page scripts. Clearing it can prevent the site from recognising your previous response; this does not delete the response already stored on the server. See our Privacy policy for information about feedback records.
Other website cookies
The existing site code also uses subscriptionPopupShowed, a session cookie that counts visits for its legacy newsletter prompt. Newsletter sign-up is available when the Mailchimp connection is enabled; confirmation is sent by Mailchimp. A legacy cookieNoticeVersion session cookie may exist if an older notice has been used.
WordPress can use authentication and preference cookies when an administrator signs in. Their duration depends on the sign-in and preference settings. You do not need a WordPress account to browse offers.
The site also includes legacy integrations and WordPress plugins. This list describes the features above and is not a complete inventory of every external script.
Retailers, affiliate links and optional tracking
Following a store or affiliate link takes you to another service, which may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Cookies used for advertising or tracking across services require appropriate consent; they are not automatically necessary just because a link supports the website financially.
Where an optional technology requires consent, a clear choice must be provided before it is used. Publishing this page does not enable or replace a consent-control system.
How to manage browser storage
Your browser settings let you inspect, delete or block cookies and stored website data. Search its settings for “cookies” or “site data”, then select VoucherButler. Instructions differ between browsers and devices.
Clearing data may remove saved offers, forget a feedback choice or sign you out of WordPress. Blocking storage may stop the corresponding feature from remembering your choices. Browser controls do not automatically delete information already held on a server.
