Resort Hoppa Discount Code UK

Hoppa is a booking service for airport transfers, shuttles, private taxis and car hire, and a Hoppa discount code is applied to a transfer booked in advance rather than to a fare agreed at the rank. Booking a transfer ahead makes sense when you land late, travel with children or arrive somewhere you do not know, and the things that go wrong with transfers are almost all avoidable at the booking stage.

Shared shuttle or private vehicle

A shared shuttle is the cheapest option and stops for other passengers, so the journey can take considerably longer than the direct drive and departures run to a timetable rather than to your arrival. A private transfer goes straight to your address and waits for you. For two people with hand luggage, the shuttle is usually fine; for a family with car seats and cases at midnight, the private vehicle earns its cost.

Give the flight number, not just the time

The flight number is what lets a driver track a delayed arrival. A booking made with only a time leaves the driver waiting on a schedule your aircraft is no longer keeping. Check the stated waiting period included after landing, since it differs between suppliers, and note what happens if you miss the transfer entirely.

Luggage, child seats and wheelchairs must be declared

Vehicles are allocated by passenger count and luggage volume. Skis, golf bags, pushchairs and bulky cases have to be entered at booking or the vehicle that arrives will not fit them. Child seats are frequently a separate request and sometimes chargeable, and legal requirements for them vary by country. Wheelchair access needs to be arranged in advance rather than asked for on the day.

Return legs and pickup times

Your return pickup will be set earlier than feels necessary, to allow for other passengers and for traffic. Confirm the return the day before, since resort pickup times are often adjusted, and note the local telephone number for the supplier rather than only the booking website.

Using a Hoppa discount code

Enter the code before payment and check the total, as a confirmed booking cannot be repriced. Codes usually carry a minimum spend, apply to a set booking window and often exclude car hire, which is contracted separately by the rental company.
