About Angara

Angara is a fine jewellery maker selling coloured gemstone and diamond pieces direct, made to order in solid gold and platinum rather than held as finished stock in a shop.
Because pieces are produced after the order is placed, the range of combinations is far wider than a display case allows: most designs can be specified in different metals, stone sizes and gem types.

What they make

Engagement and eternity rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets, built around sapphire, ruby, emerald, aquamarine, morganite and diamond among others, in white, yellow and rose gold and in platinum.
A large share of the catalogue exists so that a design can be ordered in the stone for a particular month, which is what most birthstone buyers arrive for.

Buying a gemstone piece online

Read the stone specification, not the photograph. Carat weight, dimensions in millimetres, cut and treatment are all stated, and two rings sold at the same carat weight can look quite different depending on the cut and the setting height.
Colour on a screen is approximate. Sapphires and emeralds in particular photograph in a narrow, flattering range, so the millimetre size and the described colour grade tell you more than the image does. Where a certificate is offered on a higher-value stone, keep it: it is what an insurer and a future valuer will ask for.
Made-to-order means the production time sits before the delivery time, and resizing after the event is a job for a jeweller rather than a return. Measure the finger properly, and check the returns window and what it covers for a personalised or engraved piece before ordering.

Using an Angara discount code

Configure the piece, apply the code at the checkout, and confirm the total before the order is committed. These appear as Angara discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.
Offers on fine jewellery are usually banded by order value, with a larger percentage attaching above a spend threshold, and they may come with an included extra instead of a deeper cut. Custom, engraved and certified stones are the pieces most often excluded.
