About Argento

Argento is a jewellery retailer from Northern Ireland that grew out of a Belfast shop into a chain and an online store. It sells other people's brands alongside its own pieces, which is what shapes the offers.
Sterling silver is the backbone of the range, with gold-plated and stone-set pieces alongside, and the price positioning sits between costume jewellery and fine jewellery.

What they sell

Charms and charm bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings and bangles, both own-brand and from the named jewellery houses that dominate this part of the market. Watches and a small giftware range fill out the rest.

Buying silver jewellery

Check the metal description rather than the colour. Sterling silver, silver-plated and rhodium-plated pieces all look similar in a photograph and behave very differently over time, and plating on a ring worn daily wears through at the shank first.

Ring sizing is where returns come from. Measure an existing ring that fits the same finger rather than guessing from a chart, and remember that fingers are larger at the end of a warm day than first thing in the morning.
