About Monster Pub

Monster Pub is an adult brand making app-controlled and remote-controlled intimate devices, sold direct with discreet packaging and billing.

The range

Products divide into a few groups: internal and dual-action vibrators, clitoral suction and air-pulse devices, wand-style units, couples' toys designed to be worn, and strokers. Several models connect over Bluetooth to a phone app, which allows patterns to be built or a partner to control the device from another location — the reason a lot of people buy this category in the first place. Some models add a warming function or a second motor.

Material and cleaning

Body-safe silicone is the material to look for, and the listings here describe medical-grade and dual-layer silicone. Silicone matters because it is non-porous: it can be washed properly and does not hold bacteria in the way that soft porous plastics and jelly materials do. Wash before and after use with warm water and a mild unscented soap, or a cleaner made for the purpose, dry fully, and store pieces apart from each other rather than in a drawer where they touch. One rule that catches people out — silicone lubricant degrades silicone toys, so use a water-based lubricant with them.

Practical points

Check the waterproof rating rather than assuming, since splashproof and submersible are different claims. These are rechargeable, usually over a magnetic contact rather than a socket, so keep the cable with the device. Anything used anally must have a flared base or a retrieval cord, without exception. Stop if something hurts; discomfort is information, not a hurdle. Devices are personal items, so opened products are normally non-returnable, and it is worth reading the warranty terms before buying if the app or the motor is the part you are relying on. If you have an implanted medical device or a health condition affecting sensation, a word with a clinician first is sensible.
