About NordVPN

NordVPN discount codes and coupon codes are listed above. Below is what the service covers, where the bundles differ, and what a NordVPN discount code applies to.

About NordVPN

NordVPN is one of the largest consumer VPN providers, operating a substantial server network across many countries. It sells privacy and location flexibility to a mainstream audience rather than to specialists.

The service has been independently audited on its no-logs claim, which is a more meaningful data point in this market than any speed comparison, because the entire value proposition rests on trusting the provider with traffic your internet company would otherwise see.

What comes with which plan

The tiers are where most confusion sits. The basic plan is the VPN alone. Higher tiers add threat protection against malicious sites and downloads, a password manager, and encrypted cloud storage.

Whether those extras are worth the step up depends on what you already use. If you have a password manager you are happy with, paying again for another one inside a bundle is not a saving. Work out which components you would actually use before choosing a tier.

What a VPN will and will not do

It encrypts your connection and hides your location from sites and from the network you are on. That is genuinely useful on public wireless and for privacy from an internet provider.

It does not make you anonymous, does not stop you being tracked once logged into an account, and does not protect against giving your details to a fraudulent site. Streaming access varies and changes constantly, so treat any claim about a specific service as temporary rather than guaranteed.

Using a NordVPN discount code

Pick the term, apply the code before payment and check the renewal figure alongside the first charge. These are listed as NordVPN discount codes, coupon codes and promo codes.

The advertised monthly price applies to the whole term paid upfront, and renewal is at a higher standard rate, so the second year costs substantially more than the first unless renegotiated or cancelled. Extra free months are a common mechanic and are often worth more than a slightly larger percentage. The money-back window is the only real test of whether it performs on your connection.
