About White Stores
White Stores is a garden furniture retailer based in Wickford in Essex, and a White Stores discount code is normally spent on a dining or corner set that has to survive a British winter outdoors. Two things decide whether that purchase works out: the frame material, and how the furniture actually reaches your garden.
The frame matters more than the weave
Synthetic rattan is woven over a frame, and the frame is what you are really buying. Powder-coated aluminium underneath will not rust and can stay out all year; bare or painted steel eventually blisters and bleeds at the joints. Aluminium is light enough to move on your own, and has two weaknesses: it bends permanently under a heavy sustained load, and it gets hot to sit on in July unless the cushions are thick.
Cushions are shower-resistant, never waterproof
This is the commonest misunderstanding in the category. Solution-dyed acrylic resists water passing through the face fabric, but water still finds the zips and the stitching, so cushions left out through a wet night come in soaked. Treatments protecting against light showers are worth having; none makes a cushion waterproof. Store cushions only when completely dry, since damp fabric in a sealed bag grows mildew no wash removes.
How bulky furniture is delivered
Garden furniture does not arrive like a parcel. The basic service leaves a pallet at the nearest hard standing at the front of the property, with the packaging and the pallet left for you. A step up carries the boxes through to the garden, which still means no assembly. Only the top service assembles the furniture and takes the packaging away, and it is restricted to postcodes near the Essex warehouse rather than available nationwide.
Covers and the winter question
A frame rated for year-round use still lasts longer under a cover, because covers keep leaf litter and standing water off the joints. Fit matters: a cover trapping moisture against a wooden or steel frame does more harm than none at all, so look for vents and a fastening that holds in wind.
Using a White Stores discount code
The code goes into the basket before you choose a delivery service, and it is worth checking whether it removes more than upgrading that service would add. Delivery and installation charges normally sit outside an offer, as do clearance lines and gift vouchers.
