About YouGarden

YouGarden is a Lincolnshire mail-order nursery selling plants direct to gardeners: shrubs, perennials, roses, fruit, bulbs and bedding, usually as young or established plants rather than as seed.
The same company operates Harkness Roses and World of Roses. All three are separate shops with separate baskets and separate promotions, and codes do not travel between them. It is the most frequent cause of a rejected code across related garden sites, so it is worth naming.

What they sell

The catalogue is plant-led. Hardy shrubs and perennials form the backbone, with collections sold as multi-plant bundles at a lower price per plant than singles. Roses, fruit bushes and trees, spring and summer bulbs and patio bedding fill out the year.
There is a smaller supporting range of composts, feeds, pots and plant supports, mostly sized to go with the plants rather than to stand alone.

Buying plants by post

Plants ship in planting windows, not on order. The despatch period is given on each listing and an order placed out of season simply waits, which is correct handling rather than a delay.
Size codes matter more than photographs. A plant sold in a nine-centimetre pot, as a plug or as bare root is a different proposition from a potted three-litre specimen, and the price gap reflects years of growing rather than quality. Bare root and dormant stock arrives looking dead and generally is not.
Collections and multi-buys are where the real per-plant saving sits, usually further than a percentage code goes. Check the unit price before assuming the code is the better route.

Using a YouGarden discount code

Put the plants in the basket, apply the code there, and check the figure has changed before moving to payment. These appear as YouGarden discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.
Nurseries discount at the close of each planting season and on surplus stock. Pre-order lines, gift vouchers and carriage are usually excluded, and a free-delivery threshold is often calculated before the code rather than after it.
