About 1pMobile

Codes for 1pMobile are listed at the top of this page. A 1pMobile discount code is worth a moment of arithmetic before you use it, because this network's whole proposition is a pricing structure rather than a bundle of extras.

About 1pMobile

1pMobile is a British virtual network running on EE's masts, so the coverage you get is EE coverage. There are no shops and no retention department — everything happens through the website, which is precisely how the running costs stay low.

It is aimed at light and moderate users, and at anyone buying a SIM for a child, a parent or a second handset.

How the pricing works

The name comes from its pay-as-you-go rates, historically a penny a minute, a penny a text and a penny a megabyte, charged down from a top-up balance. Monthly SIM-only plans with an allowance included sit alongside it for people who would rather not watch a balance at all.

Pay-as-you-go wins when your usage is genuinely small and predictable. It stops winning the moment you start streaming on mobile data, because a per-megabyte rate adds up faster than almost anyone expects.

What to check before switching

Coverage is EE's, but check your own postcode anyway. A virtual network can sit below the host network's own customers when a mast is congested, so speeds at peak times may not match EE directly.

Keeping your number means asking your current provider for a PAC code, which stays valid for thirty days; the switch itself completes in about a working day. Request the PAC before you cancel anything, never after.

Roaming, tethering and 5G access differ between virtual networks sharing the same host. Read those three lines specifically rather than assuming EE's terms carry across.

Using a 1pMobile discount code

Apply the code when you order the SIM or set up the plan, not once the account is already live, since credit that has been added cannot usually be re-priced afterwards. If the code is tied to a first top-up, make that top-up the amount the offer is sized for instead of the minimum.
