About Appliances Direct

Appliances Direct is a British online retailer of household appliances and electricals, selling washing machines, fridges, cookers, televisions, heating and cooling direct rather than through showrooms.
It belongs to the Buy It Direct group, which also runs Laptops Direct, Drones Direct, Furniture123, Better Bathrooms and Outdoor Living. Each is a separate shop with its own basket, and a code issued for one will not be accepted by another. It is worth checking which of them the basket is actually on, because the sites look alike.

What they sell

Large kitchen appliances, laundry, refrigeration and cooking, alongside televisions and audio, vacuum cleaners and floorcare, air conditioning, dehumidifiers and heating, radiators, kitchen taps and sinks, and outdoor and garden equipment in season.
Both new and graded stock is sold. Graded units are returns or ex-display with cosmetic marks, working normally and priced well below new, which is the largest saving available on the site.

Buying a large appliance

Measure the space and the route in before anything else. An appliance that fits the gap but will not pass the front door is the classic mistake here, and delivery crews do not remove doors. Check height, width, depth including the door handle, and the hinge side on anything that opens.
Check what the delivery includes. Installation, connection, removal of the old machine and taking away the packaging are usually separate paid options rather than standard, and for a washing machine or a cooker that difference matters. Gas appliances must be connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Energy labels are worth reading properly. The running cost over ten years on a fridge or a washing machine easily exceeds the gap between two models at purchase, and the label states annual consumption rather than a vague rating.

Using an Appliances Direct discount code

Choose the model, apply the code before payment and check the total. These appear as Appliances Direct discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.
Offers here are usually a fixed amount off a named appliance or a percentage tied to a spend threshold in one category, rather than a reduction across the whole shop. Graded stock, clearance and delivery upgrades are the standard exclusions.
