About Big Wall Decor (US)

Big Wall Decor is an American maker of oversized wall art, printing to order in Michigan rather than holding stock. A Big Wall Decor discount code is spent in dollars at a checkout that currently offers North American delivery only, so a British buyer needs a forwarding address to use one at all.

Fabric in a frame, not only canvas

The flagship format is artwork printed on textile, edge-sewn with a silicone bead that slots into a groove in an aluminium frame, so prints swap in and out of the same frame without tools. Canvas comes rolled or stretched. The acrylic uses ultraviolet-cured ink and the metal dye sublimation, both more light-stable than ordinary water-based inkjet.

Giclee means nothing; the ink does

Giclee has no technical definition — it means a fine-art inkjet print and nothing more. Longevity comes from ink and substrate. Pigment sits as solid particles and resists light far better than dye. Judge a print by whether the ink is pigment, ultraviolet-cured or sublimated, not by the word on the listing.

Why a phone photo fails at this size

Required resolution scales with viewing distance rather than a fixed rule: around a hundred and fifty to three hundred pixels per inch for close inspection, less across a room. Enlarging software smooths and interpolates but cannot invent detail that was never captured, so a forwarded phone picture goes soft at this size. Custom uploads are non-returnable.

Hanging advice written for American walls

Mounting with nails assumes a timber stud wall. British homes are usually solid brick or block, or plasterboard dot-and-dabbed onto masonry. Masonry needs a drilled plug and screw; plasterboard needs a hollow-wall anchor rated for the load, and dot-and-dab needs a fixing long enough to reach the brick behind the void. Stud spacing differs here too, so a supplied template may not land on anything solid.

Using a Big Wall Decor discount code

A code discounts the goods, not the cost of getting them here. Anything shipped into Britain is taxed on the whole landed value — goods, carriage, insurance and any duty — and the courier adds a clearance fee that is never reclaimable even when the tax is. Outbound shipping is not refunded, there is no international return label, and a cross-border return of something this size can swallow the refund.
