About Biossance

Biossance is a skincare brand built around a single ingredient decision. Squalane is an emollient the skin produces naturally and loses with age, and it was traditionally harvested from shark liver. Biossance makes its version from fermented sugarcane instead.

That origin story is not marketing decoration; it is the reason the company exists and the thread running through every product. The rest of the formulation philosophy follows from it, with a published list of ingredients the brand refuses to use.

What they make

Facial oils and serums are the heart of the range, with squalane appearing at different concentrations and paired with actives such as vitamin C, retinol alternatives and peptides.

Around them sit cleansers, moisturisers, eye creams, sunscreens and a smaller body line. Sets pairing a cleanser with a serum and a moisturiser are common and are how most new customers start.

Reading the claims honestly

Squalane is a good emollient and it suits most skin types, including oily ones, because it is light and does not clog. That much is well established.

Beyond that, treat clean beauty language carefully. Terms like clean and non-toxic have no legal definition in cosmetics, and a brand's exclusion list is a marketing position rather than a safety standard. Judge the product on the active ingredient, its concentration and how your skin responds over a month, which is the only test that means anything.

Using a Biossance discount code

Add the products, apply the code at the checkout and confirm the total before ordering. These are listed as Biossance discount codes, coupon codes and promo codes.

The offers here are usually built as a threshold plus a gift rather than as a flat percentage: spend above a stated figure and a full-size product is added. That threshold is measured after any discount, so a code can lift the gift out of reach. Sets are priced as the saving already and rarely take a further reduction.
