The practical advice: on a driver, where the face wears slowly, a lower grade saves real money without costing you anything you will feel. On wedges it is the reverse, because groove sharpness is what puts spin on the ball, so buy those at the top grades.

Every club is checked by Callaway technicians, so you are not taking a stranger's word for it on an auction site, and authenticity is guaranteed — worth something in a market with a lot of counterfeit heads in it. There is a twelve-month warranty against defects and a fourteen-day trial, which means a club can be hit and sent back if it does not suit. Check the shaft flex and length on the listing as carefully as the head model, since a good club with the wrong shaft is the wrong club.
