CBD Armour is a British CBD brand selling oils, capsules, gummies and topicals made from organic hemp, and a discount code is worth having — but the label rules matter more than the price, so start there.

Where CBD legally stands in Britain

CBD sold to eat or swallow is regulated as a novel food. That means every ingestible product needs an authorised application on the Food Standards Agency's public list to be sold lawfully, and a responsible brand will tell you where its products sit on that list. It also means CBD is legally a food supplement, not a medicine: no seller may claim it treats, prevents or cures anything, and a site that does is breaking the rules rather than revealing something. Finished products may contain only trace controlled cannabinoids within the permitted limits, which is why a legitimate UK product will not make you high.

Reading a certificate of analysis

This is the single most useful skill in this category and it takes two minutes. A certificate of analysis is a laboratory report on a specific production batch, and the batch number on it should match the batch number on the bottle in your hand. Check three things: the CBD content found against the label claim; the controlled cannabinoid content, which must be within legal limits; and the screens for heavy metals, pesticides and solvents, since hemp readily takes up metals from soil. A brand that publishes a generic certificate with no batch number, or none at all, has told you what you need to know.

Safety, honestly

The Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults to take no more than seventy milligrams of CBD a day from all sources combined, and to avoid it entirely if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, or if you take any medication. That last point is the one people skip: CBD affects the liver enzymes that process a long list of ordinary prescriptions, blood thinners among them, so ask your pharmacist or GP before the first dose, not after. Under-eighteens should not take it. If you have a health problem you are hoping CBD will solve, see a doctor about the problem.

Buying, storing and using your code

Start at the lowest sensible strength and hold it a fortnight before changing anything; jumping to a high-strength oil wastes money and tells you nothing. Store bottles upright, cool and out of sunlight, and use them within the stated period after opening. UK delivery is free above a spend threshold, and student rates are offered separately from promotional codes — check which is worth more, since they generally will not combine.
