About Decorating Centre Online

Decorating Centre Online is a British supplier of paint, wallpaper and decorating materials, selling trade-quality brands to professionals and to people doing the job themselves.
It is a merchant rather than a DIY shed, which shows in the range: trade tin sizes, professional sanding and preparation kit, and brands that a decorator would recognise rather than the supermarket names.

What they supply

Interior and exterior paints from the trade ranges, primers, undercoats and specialist coatings, wallpaper and adhesives, brushes and rollers, sanding machines and abrasives, fillers, tapes, dust sheets and site protection.
Bundles are a feature here: kits that pair a machine with the abrasives it needs, or a cupboard paint set with the preparation materials, priced below the same items separately.

Buying decorating materials

Preparation is where the result comes from, and it is where the money should go. A good filler, the right abrasive grades and a proper primer make a cheap topcoat look better than an expensive topcoat over bad preparation.
Buy paint by coverage, not by tin. Every tin states square metres per litre, walls are measured in square metres, and the sum takes a minute — it is also what stops you buying a second tin of a mixed colour that will not match exactly.
Match the abrasive to the job rather than buying one grade. Coarse paper for stripping, medium for levelling filler, fine for the final key before painting; using the wrong one either takes forever or leaves scratches that show through the paint.
Sanding old paintwork can release dust that is worth taking seriously. In houses built before the nineteen nineties, assume old layers may contain lead, wet-sand rather than dry-sand, and look up the official guidance before disturbing it.

Using a Decorating Centre Online discount code

Work out the quantities, apply the code before payment and check the total. These appear as Decorating Centre Online discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.
Bundle pricing is applied to the kit itself and normally will not take a further code. Paint is heavy, so delivery is charged accordingly and sits outside a percentage on the goods, and mixed-to-order colours cannot be returned.
