About Game Over

Game Over makes gaming bean bags, and unlike the shapeless sacks the phrase brings to mind, these are structured seats designed around sitting at a screen for hours.

What the design is actually doing

The details are the product. Deep two-tone side pockets hold a controller and a drink where you can reach them, a fastening hook keeps headphones off the floor between sessions, metal vents let air move through the filling so the seat is not swimming by the third hour, and the outer fabric is water resistant and double stitched so a spilled drink wipes off rather than soaks in. The shape is cut to support the back at a console-height viewing angle rather than tipping you flat.

Choosing a size and looking after it

Bean bags are bought too small more often than too large: a seat that fits a teenager will feel cramped to an adult, and the measurements on the product page are worth holding against a chair you already sit in. Filling settles with use, which is normal rather than a fault, and a top-up bag of beads restores the shape for far less than a replacement. Keep it away from a radiator, since heat shrinks polystyrene beads faster than sitting on them does.

Where the discount code goes

Choose the seat and any extras, open the basket, and enter the code in the discount field before the payment page, watching the total settle before you continue. Bundles that pair a bean bag with a footstool or a refill are already priced as a set and a code will rarely improve on one, so it is worth pricing both routes. One code applies per order, and free mainland delivery applies on its own without needing a code.

Delivery and the practical bit

Delivery to mainland Britain is free, and the parcel is bulkier than most people expect, so plan where it is going before it arrives rather than after. If the seat is a present, note that a bean bag cannot be quietly hidden in a wardrobe. Discounting is heaviest around Black Friday and in the weeks before Christmas, which is when this category sells hardest, so a gift bought in October usually costs less than the same one bought in December.
