UV prints and how to keep them

Blacklight-reactive inks are not permanent in the way an ordinary print is. Hot washing, tumble drying and harsh detergents dull the fluorescence, and once it fades the garment simply looks like a normal print. Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle, and hang to dry. Sunlight is the other enemy, so store bright pieces out of a south-facing window between events. Note too that UV pigments react to the light rig rather than glowing on their own — a photograph taken in daylight will not show what the garment looks like at two in the morning.

Shipping to the UK, and using your code

Everything ships from the United States, with free carriage above a stated order value in dollars. A UK order therefore means international postage plus import VAT and duty charged by customs on arrival — count both in before deciding, and order well ahead of a festival date rather than the week before.
