About Lebara

Lebara promo codes and discount codes are listed above. Below is how SIM-only works, what to sort out before switching, and what a Lebara promo code actually gets you.

About Lebara

Lebara is a UK mobile provider built around no-contract, SIM-only plans. There is no handset bundled in and no long tie-in, which is the appeal: you keep the phone you already own and pay for the service separately.

Plans run on 5G where coverage is available, and inclusive EU roaming is part of the standard offer rather than a paid add-on — relevant if you travel within Europe more than occasionally.

Who SIM-only suits

SIM-only works well if your current handset is in good shape and out of contract, or if you bought it outright. It tends not to suit someone who wants a new flagship phone spread over two years, because you are buying the service alone.

Two things to sort out before you switch. First, make sure your handset is unlocked — phones bought on contract from another network sometimes are not. Second, if you want to keep your number, request a PAC code from your current provider by text and give it to Lebara during activation; the transfer normally completes within one working day.

Before you commit

Check coverage at the postcodes where you actually spend time — home, work, and the commute between them — rather than relying on a national map. A plan that looks excellent on paper is worth little if the signal is poor in your kitchen.

What a Lebara promo code usually gets you

Most Lebara promo codes — also listed as discount codes or voucher codes — reduce the monthly price of a SIM-only plan for an introductory period rather than cutting the standard rate permanently. Read which plan a code is tied to: one written for a small data bundle will not apply to a larger one, and the size of the reduction usually varies with the plan.

Two further patterns are worth knowing. Many codes are limited to new customers, so an existing Lebara account may not qualify. And where a reduction runs for a set number of months, the price returns to the standard rate afterwards, which is worth a diary note if you intend to leave rather than roll on.

Using a Lebara promo code

Choose your plan, then look for the promo code field during checkout, before payment. Apply the code and check that the first month's total updates before you confirm.

If a code will not take, it is almost always one of three things: it is tied to a different plan, it has expired, or it is restricted to new customers. Trying another code costs nothing.
