About Made in Design UK

Made in Design's current British store offers contemporary furniture, lighting and homeware from different design brands. Current examples include Vitra's DAW chair, Artemide's Nessino lamp and Driade's Roly Poly armchair, alongside further furnishings and decorative pieces. Named designs provide a starting point for browsing, but the selected version matters. A recognised model can appear with different finishes, dimensions or components, so use the complete listing as the reference for the purchase.

Designer furniture and lighting from Made in Design

Check the brand, model and configuration rather than relying only on the design name. A chair's leg arrangement or material can distinguish one version from another, while a light may have different finish or component options. Photographs can show related variants together. Confirm which one is selected in the basket and read the corresponding description before comparing its price with another listing.

Identifying the exact designer product and version

Dimensions need to be matched to the intended room. Compare the full size of furniture with the usable space and the route into the property, allowing for the way the item will be used. Lighting and smaller objects have their own measurements to check. A styled photograph illustrates a design setting without establishing whether the same piece will fit beside your furniture or on a particular surface.

Comparing dimensions, materials and components

Read the material, care and contents information for the exact product. For a light, investigate required lamps or other components and any installation requirements instead of assuming everything shown is included. If electrical work is involved, seek appropriately qualified help. Delivery, assembly and related services should be checked against the actual order rather than extended from a general service description across every item.

Planning delivery and the intended room

A Made in Design discount code may apply to eligible brands, products or baskets under its conditions. Confirm the configuration and quantities before reviewing the complete delivered total. Read current stock, cancellation and return arrangements, particularly for configured or larger items. Save the precise product reference and measurements with your confirmation so that later enquiries concern the same version of the design.
