MicksGarage Promo Code UK & Discount Code

MicksGarage sells car parts, accessories and tools online, shipping to the United Kingdom from Ireland, and a MicksGarage.com discount code is normally spent on servicing parts: filters, brake components, wipers and oil. Car parts are unusually easy to order incorrectly, because two cars with the same name and year can take different parts, and the cure is to identify the part rather than the car.

Registration lookup is a start, not a guarantee

Entering a registration narrows the catalogue to parts listed for that vehicle, which removes most mistakes. It does not catch everything: mid-year production changes, engine variants and a previous owner's non-standard parts all break the match. Where a part number is stamped on the old component, that number beats every lookup.

OE, OEM and aftermarket are three different things

An original equipment part carries the car maker's branding and price. An OEM part is made by the same supplier who built the original, sold in that supplier's own box, and is usually the sensible buy. Aftermarket covers everything else, from excellent to poor, and the brand name is the only guide to which. For safety-critical items, brake and steering components in particular, a recognised manufacturer is worth the difference.

Brakes and other parts that come in pairs

Brake pads and discs are replaced across an axle, not on one wheel, because uneven friction pulls the car under braking. Discs and pads are normally changed together, since new pads bed into the grooves of a worn disc. The same logic applies to suspension components: replacing one side of a pair leaves the car sitting and handling unevenly.

Fluids, oil grades and electrical returns

Engine oil is specified by viscosity grade and by a manufacturer approval, and the approval matters more than the grade alone. Coolant types should not be mixed. Electrical parts are commonly excluded from returns once installed, so confirm the fit before touching the packaging.

Using a MicksGarage.com discount code

Apply the code in the basket and confirm the total before paying. Codes commonly exclude oil and heavy items that carry their own carriage, clearance lines and gift cards, and carry a minimum spend. Check the delivered total to a UK address rather than the basket subtotal.
