About True Toys

True Toys is the Manchester online toy shop that traded as BargainMax before its rebrand, and it still works the same way: end-of-line and overstock buying, big playroom names, and a clearance section that turns over constantly.

What you can buy at True Toys

The catalogue reaches from preschool basics up to collectables aimed at teenagers and grown-up collectors. Nerf blasters, Barbie, Baby Annabell, Cocomelon, Paw Patrol, Hot Wheels and LOL Surprise all appear, sitting alongside board games, ride-ons, garden play, craft kits and licensed figures. Because much of the range is bought as surplus rather than ordered on repeat, a line that sells through is often gone for good instead of coming back, which is why the sale pages reward a regular look rather than an occasional one.

Using your code at the basket

Build the basket first, then open it and find the promotional code field before you move through to payment. Drop the code in, apply it, and watch the order summary change before you type in any address or card details. The checkout takes a single code per order, so where you are holding two or three, try them one at a time and keep whichever leaves the smaller total. A good number of True Toys promotions are set up as straight price cuts with no code needed at all, and those will not stack with a voucher on top.

Delivery, packaging and returns

Parcels leave the company's own UK warehouse, with a standard service and a faster tracked option offered at checkout, and postage drops away once the basket clears the qualifying figure shown on the delivery page. If you are close to that line, adding one small pocket-money item is often cheaper than paying the carriage. Unopened goods can go back inside the published returns window, so hold on to the outer box and any sealed packaging until you are certain the toy is a keeper, because opened boxes and broken seals make a return much harder to arrange.

Getting the price down further

Mix-and-match bundles are the steadiest saving on this site, and on soft toys, craft sets and small pocket-money lines they will usually beat a single voucher outright. Signing up to the mailing list brings early word of clearance drops, and the heaviest cutting of the year lands around Black Friday and again in the January reset, when Christmas surplus has to move. Anyone shopping ahead for a summer birthday will normally find that January window the cheapest moment to buy.
