How the marketplace works

Tutors write their own profiles, set their own hourly rate and choose whether they teach online, in person or both. You search by subject, read profiles and reviews, message a shortlist about what you actually need, and book. Lessons online run in the platform's own classroom with a shared whiteboard and screen sharing, which matters more than it sounds: a maths session without a shared workspace is two people describing equations to each other. Picking a tutor is picking a person, not a CV

The strongest signal in a profile is not the university named at the top. It is the reviews from students at the same level as yours, the number of hours actually taught, and how the tutor answers your first message. What the rate does and does not include
