8wines Discount Codes & Vouchers

Every 8wines discount code we hold appears above this article. What follows is who the merchant is, how shipping wine across Europe really works, and where a code fits into the total. Alcohol is sold to over-18s only.

About 8wines

8wines is a European wine merchant shipping to the UK and across the EU, built around producers that rarely reach British supermarket shelves: small estates in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria and central Europe.

The selling point is access rather than cheapness. These are bottles that would otherwise need a trip to the region, or an importer who does not sell to the public.

What they stock

Red, white, rosé, sparkling and dessert wines, weighted towards named estates rather than supermarket-scale brands. Champagne and other traditional-method sparkling sit beside regional alternatives made the same way.

Mixed cases are the sensible way in. Six bottles from one region teach you more than six bottles from six countries, and the per-bottle delivery cost falls sharply as the case fills.

Shipping wine, and what it really costs

Wine is heavy and breakable, so delivery is priced by the case rather than by order value, and a single bottle is almost always poor value. Building up to a full case is the practical rule.

Wine moving from the EU into the UK can attract duty and VAT on arrival. Check whether what you see is a delivered-duty-paid price or whether a courier will ask for payment at the door, because that gap is larger than most discounts.

Someone over 18 must be present to sign for the delivery. It cannot be left with a neighbour or in a safe place without an age check.

Storing what arrives

Keep bottles on their side somewhere dark and cool with a steady temperature. Swings matter more than the number itself, which is why the cupboard above the oven is the worst spot in the house.

Using an 8wines discount code

Assemble the case first, then enter the code at checkout. Shipping and any duty normally sit outside the discount, so judge the offer against the bottle total. Please drink responsibly.
