About Alexandra Sports

Alexandra Sports is a running and fitness specialist with an online shop and stores in Portsmouth and Christchurch. Its range focuses on running footwear and clothing, supported by accessories and services such as gait analysis. The business serves runners and walkers looking for specialist equipment. It is separate from the similarly named Alexandra workwear retailer.

Running shoes for road and trail

Footwear can be compared around the routes and sessions you normally undertake. Road shoes, trail designs and models intended for racing have different specifications. Look at the outsole, cushioning and the manufacturer's fit notes for the exact model. When replacing a familiar shoe, check the current version rather than assuming every release has the same construction or fit.

Clothing and accessories for regular training

Clothing and accessories extend the selection beyond footwear. Layers need to suit the weather and the length of your session, while socks and insoles have their own size information. Building a small training list around the kit you already use can help distinguish a necessary replacement from a new accessory that adds little to your routine.

Stores and running fit services

The retailer's stores and appointment information are useful when you want help comparing shoes in person. Check the services available at the chosen location and whether booking is required. Online shoppers should use the relevant brand's size guide and read how fit can be assessed within the return conditions. Neither a sale price nor a general footwear category establishes that a particular shoe will suit an individual runner.
