About Alpinestars UK

Alpinestars discount codes and voucher codes are listed above. Underneath is what the company makes, why the certification labels matter, and what an Alpinestars discount code covers.

About Alpinestars

Alpinestars is an Italian manufacturer of protective equipment for motorcycling and motorsport, founded in the sixties making boots and now supplying riders at every level from commuting to grand prix racing.

This is protective equipment rather than clothing, and it should be bought that way. The styling is a consequence of the protection rather than the other way round.

What they make

Leather suits and jackets for track and road, textile jackets and trousers for touring and commuting, and the airbag systems the company has developed for road and race use.

Boots across road, touring, off-road and race categories, gloves in the same spread, and body armour worn beneath other kit: back protectors, chest inserts, knee and elbow armour.

Reading the labels

Motorcycle clothing sold in Europe carries a certification standard, and it is printed inside the garment rather than advertised on the front. Garments are rated by level, and armour is rated separately from the shell.

Two practical points follow. A jacket can be certified while the armour inside it is the basic level, and upgrading the inserts is cheap and worthwhile. And fit is protection: armour that sits in the wrong place because the jacket is loose does nothing in a slide. Measure properly and try the position of the shoulder and elbow pieces with your arms forward as if on the bars.

Using an Alpinestars discount code

Choose the kit, apply the code at the checkout and confirm the total before ordering. These appear as Alpinestars discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.

Protective brands protect current-season ranges and discount the previous ones, so last year's colourway in the same certified garment is where the saving genuinely is. Race replica items and airbag systems are the least likely to be included in any offer. Sale stock normally sits outside a further percentage, and on a discontinued line the sale price will beat a code outright.
