About baleaf

Baleaf sells activewear direct, and its reputation rests on one thing in particular: pockets, and plenty of them, on garments that most brands leave without any.

What the range covers

Womenswear leads, with leggings, capris, yoga pants, tapered trousers, bike shorts, Bermuda lengths, skorts and athletic tees, alongside hiking trousers, cycling wear and rain jackets for anyone training outdoors. Sun protection rated to UPF fifty runs through much of the range, which matters more for cycling and hiking than for the gym. There is a smaller men's line and a growing tennis and padel section. Prices sit well below the studio brands, which is the whole proposition.

Reading the product names

The naming is unusually informative once you know the pattern. A number in inches gives the inseam, so a twenty-one inch capri and a twelve inch short are quite different garments, and picking the wrong one is the most common complaint in the reviews. Rise is stated too, and high-rise is the default across most of the range. Where a style exists in several fabrics, the lighter one suits running and the heavier one suits the gym, since a thin fabric under load is the usual cause of a see-through legging.

Putting a code in

Build the basket, open it, and use the discount field before the payment step, watching the total change before you continue. Codes here are commonly tied to a category rather than the whole shop, so one written for tennis styles will refuse on a hiking trouser without being expired. The site also runs multi-buy offers and gift thresholds that apply themselves, and a code will rarely stack on top of those, so it is worth pricing the basket both ways.

Ordering into the United Kingdom

The main storefront prices in dollars and despatches from abroad, so a British order can attract import VAT and a handling fee on delivery, and those land after the sale rather than during it. Add them before deciding the price beats a domestic seller. Returns cross the same distance, so use the size guide and the reviews properly rather than ordering two sizes with the intention of sending one back. The heaviest discounting comes at the end of a season, when the outgoing colours are cleared.
