About Braun UK

There are two businesses trading under the Braun name, and shoppers arrive at the wrong one constantly. This page covers Braun Household, the kitchen and home appliance side.

Two Brauns, one badge

Braun Household makes blenders, juicers, food preparation machines, kettles, irons and garment steamers. Braun grooming, the shavers and epilators, is run separately and sold through its own channels. The logo is shared under licence, the product ranges are not, and a code issued for one side of the business will not work on the other. If you are shopping for a shaver, this is the wrong door.

Hand blenders and the attachment question

The hand blender is the range the brand is best known for, and the differentiator is the attachment system rather than raw motor power. A stick blender with a beaker is a different tool from one supplied with a chopper bowl, whisk and masher, and the accessories are what decide whether the machine stays on the worktop or in a cupboard. Check what is in the box rather than comparing wattage alone.

Juicers: citrus, spin and the difference that matters

Citrus presses are single-purpose and simple, built around a reamer for oranges, lemons and grapefruit. Spin juicers take whole fruit and vegetables and separate the pulp centrifugally, which suits hard produce far better than leafy greens. Neither replaces the other, and buying the wrong one is the most common regret in this category.

Garment care and living with the range

The garment steamer and iron line rounds out the catalogue, aimed at people who want creases out without setting up a board every time. Across the whole range, the practical points to check before ordering are the length of the guarantee stated on the listing, whether replacement blades and bowls are sold separately, and which parts are dishwasher safe. Apply the discount code in the basket and confirm the total moves before completing the order.
