About Desigual

Desigual is a Barcelona fashion house whose name translates roughly as unequal or not the same, which is an accurate description of the clothes. Print, colour and asymmetry run through everything, and the brand has never made a quiet garment on purpose.

That is the entire proposition. Nobody buys Desigual for a neutral wardrobe staple, and the label has built a following precisely by refusing to compete on minimalism.

What they make

Womenswear leads: dresses, tops, jackets and coats, denim and knitwear, all carrying the prints and patchwork the house is known for.

Menswear runs alongside in a somewhat calmer register, and accessories are a substantial category, particularly bags, which carry the same graphic treatment. Sport and swim lines appear seasonally.

Buying a print-led wardrobe

Two practical points. Strong prints are memorable, which means each piece is recognised and re-worn less often than a plain one. Building around a small number of statement pieces works better than filling a wardrobe with them.

Second, Spanish sizing does not map exactly onto British sizing and the cuts are often shaped rather than straight. Use the measurement chart rather than the number, and read the fabric composition, since the embellished and layered pieces frequently need more careful washing than their price suggests.

Using a Desigual discount code

Build the basket first, then enter the code at the checkout and confirm the total has changed before paying. These appear as Desigual discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.

The Spanish retail calendar governs the sales here rather than the British one, with the deepest reductions in January and July. Sale stock is normally outside a further percentage, so the choice is between the two prices. Collaborations and limited prints are the least likely to be discounted, and a print sold out in your size will not return.
