About Endoca

Endoca makes CBD products from hemp it grows itself on organic farms in the EU, extracting with supercritical CO2 rather than solvents and selling the results direct.

The range

Oils come in raw and decarboxylated versions at several strengths, and there are capsules, gummies, chewing gum, topical creams and body butters, suppositories, a functional mushroom line and products formulated for pets. Raw and heated versions are not the same thing: heating converts the acid form of the cannabinoid into the more familiar one, so a raw oil and a decarboxylated one at the same milligram figure behave differently.

What CBD is and is not

Being clear about this matters more than any product detail. In Britain CBD is sold as a food supplement, not a medicine. It is not licensed to treat, prevent or cure any condition, and a seller may not claim that it does. There is one licensed cannabis-derived prescription medicine for particular forms of epilepsy, and that is a different thing entirely, obtained through a doctor. If you are considering CBD for a diagnosed condition, that is a conversation to have with a clinician rather than a purchase to make on a website.

Practical points before buying

The Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults to keep to no more than seventy milligrams of CBD a day unless a doctor says otherwise, and advises against CBD entirely if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking any medication. That last one is not a formality: CBD interacts with the liver enzymes that process a long list of common drugs, including blood thinners, and the interaction runs in both directions. Look for a batch certificate of analysis showing the actual cannabinoid content, since independent testing has repeatedly found products that do not match their labels. Start at the lowest strength.
