First Choice Discount Code UK

First Choice is a package holiday operator in the TUI group, known for all-inclusive trips where flights, transfers, accommodation and meals are bought as one contract, and a First Choice discount code is normally applied to that package total rather than to a single element. Buying this way changes your legal position as well as the price, which is the part most price comparisons miss.

Why a package is not the same as a flight plus a hotel

When flights and accommodation are sold as one booking, the trip falls under the package travel rules. The organiser is responsible for the holiday as a whole, so if the hotel is not as described or an airline fails, sorting it out is the operator's job. Assembling the same parts yourself is often cheaper on paper and leaves you holding every risk alone.

Check the ATOL certificate, not the confirmation email

Holidays including a flight should come with an ATOL certificate, issued when you book, naming who is protected and for what. It is short, and it is the document that matters if a supplier fails. Save it with the booking reference, check the lead passenger name matches the passport, and do not treat a confirmation email as proof of protection.

What all-inclusive covers, and what it quietly does not

All-inclusive is a label, not a standard, and it varies by hotel. Included dining is usually the main buffet, with speciality restaurants charged separately or capped at a few visits. Local-brand drinks are normally in; imported spirits, room water and the minibar often are not. Watersports may be included only where no instructor or fuel is involved. The hotel page has the detail.

Deposits, balance dates and changes

Package holidays are held on a deposit with the balance due weeks before departure, and missing that date can cancel the booking and cost the deposit. Name changes, date changes and cancellations each carry a charge that rises as departure nears. Confirm baggage allowance, seat selection and transfers at booking.

Using a First Choice discount code

Enter the code during booking and confirm the total falls before you pay the deposit, since it cannot be added to a booking already made. Codes usually carry a minimum spend, apply to a set booking window and departure period, and are limited to packages rather than flight-only or hotel-only bookings.
