About Menkind
Menkind is a British gift and gadget retailer with a permanent estate of around fifty-seven shops plus seasonal units before Christmas, and a Menkind discount code is normally spent on a present rather than something for yourself. Worth knowing: the group absorbed Red5 years ago and has since folded Prezzybox into the same site, so all three names now lead here.
Pop-up stock and permanent stock are different pools
The Christmas pop-up units are operated as a separate business from the year-round shops, which means a reserve-in-store check against one tells you nothing about the other. If a specific item matters, check the branch you actually intend to visit rather than assuming the chain has it.
Batteries, and the sizes nobody has in a drawer
Novelty electronics and light-up gifts frequently arrive without batteries, and the cells they take are often not the AA and AAA you have at home but button cells or a nine-volt block. Read the box contents before wrapping something a child will open on Christmas morning.
Age ratings here are not toy age grades
Much of this range carries an adult age rating rather than a suitability guide: laser products, air-powered items, drinking games, blades and some flying toys. Age-restricted goods usually need an adult to take the delivery, and a rating of fourteen or eighteen is a legal restriction rather than an opinion about maturity.
Personalisation and wrapping change your rights
Once a gift is personalised it is made to order, which takes it outside the ordinary right to change your mind on an online purchase. Gift wrapping is returnable only while intact and unused. Both follow from the goods no longer being resaleable. Proofread any name or message before submitting, because what you type is what gets printed.
Using a Menkind discount code
Enter the code at the basket and check the figure before paying. The binding constraint in December is not the discount but the last order date for standard delivery, which falls well before Christmas, with paid express a few days later. There is also a separate extended returns policy for gifts bought early in the season, which is worth reading if you are shopping in November.
