About Musto UK

Musto discount codes and voucher codes are listed above. Underneath is what the company makes, how its layering system works, and what a Musto discount code covers.

About Musto

Musto was founded by an Olympic sailor and built its reputation on offshore sailing kit, the sort tested by people a long way from land in weather nobody would choose. The country and equestrian lines came later and inherited the same construction standards.

That heritage is the reason a jacket here costs what it does. The garments are specified for conditions most owners will never meet, which is either overkill or exactly the point depending on what you do at weekends.

The layering system

Musto organises technical clothing into layers rather than into garments, and understanding the system is how you avoid buying the wrong thing.

The outer layer is waterproof and windproof and does nothing to keep you warm. The mid layer traps heat. The base layer moves moisture away from the skin. A very expensive outer jacket over a cotton T-shirt will leave you cold and damp, which is the most common mistake made by people buying their first serious piece.

What they make

Offshore and inshore sailing jackets and salopettes, with the flagship ocean range at the top and lighter coastal gear beneath. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, sailing boots and gloves complete the marine side.

The country range covers shooting and field clothing, quilted and waxed jackets, gilets and tweed, alongside an equestrian line and casual pieces that borrow the same fabrics.

Using a Musto discount code

Select the kit, apply the code at the checkout and confirm the total before the order goes through. These are listed as Musto discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.

Technical outdoor brands discount by season and by archive. End-of-season sales run deep, and this brand periodically stacks an additional percentage on already-reduced archive stock, which is unusual and is when the real bargains appear. Current-season flagship jackets are the least likely to be included in any offer. Sale exclusions are the norm on a sitewide percentage.
