No Bloat makes plant-based ready meals for people with sensitive digestion, and every recipe is certified Low FODMAP by Monash University — the institution that developed the diet.
What the meals are
The range is eight freeze-dried dishes in pots: pasta bolognese, lentil hash, risotto, curry, ramen and similar. You add boiling water, wait eight to ten minutes and eat. Each pot lands between roughly 165 and 206 calories, uses natural ingredients with no preservatives, and keeps in a cupboard rather than a freezer. There are a few add-ons alongside the meals, including omega-3 capsules.
What Low FODMAP actually means
FODMAPs are short-chain carbohydrates — found in wheat, onion, garlic, certain fruits, pulses and dairy — that some people ferment rather than absorb, producing gas, bloating and pain. The low FODMAP diet was developed at Monash to identify which of them a particular person reacts to, and the certification on these pots means the recipes have been laboratory-tested to fall under the thresholds, rather than a brand simply asserting it. That testing is the meaningful difference from a product that just says "gut friendly" on the front.
How the diet is meant to be used
This matters more than the meals. The low FODMAP diet is a diagnostic process in three phases — a strict elimination of a few weeks, then structured reintroduction of each group, then a long-term personalised diet — and it is designed to be run with a dietitian. It is not meant to be eaten strictly forever: staying in the elimination phase long-term narrows the diet and reduces the fibre that feeds gut bacteria. And persistent bloating, pain or a change in bowel habit should be seen by a GP before you self-diagnose, because these symptoms overlap with coeliac disease and with conditions that need investigating. Used as convenient meals inside a properly supervised plan, pots like these solve a genuine problem — lunch at work is where the diet usually breaks down.
