About Real Food Hub

Real Food Hub is an online marketplace connecting shoppers with independent UK food and drink producers. It brings together farms, fish suppliers, cheesemongers and other specialist makers, with information about the businesses behind the products. The site is useful for building a meal around a particular ingredient or discovering producers beyond your local area.

Independent producers in one marketplace

The range includes heritage-breed meats, fish and shellfish, regional cheeses, hampers and drinks. Featured suppliers include Yew Tree Farm Heritage Meats, Berwick Shellfish Company and The Courtyard Dairy. Browsing a producer’s selection gives more context about its specialism than looking only at an isolated product photograph.

Meat, seafood, cheese and pantry discoveries

Listings identify details such as weight, cut or pack contents, which help when planning portions and comparing prices. For a hamper or prepared selection, read the complete contents and allergen information. Seasonal availability can affect what is offered, so base a menu on the products and quantities currently available to order.

How supplier dispatch affects an order

Orders are prepared and sent by the individual suppliers rather than all leaving one central warehouse. This is a key detail when choosing items from several businesses: review dispatch days, delivery charges and arrival arrangements for each part. For chilled food, plan to follow the supplied storage instructions when the parcel arrives.

Check the terms of offers listed here for eligible producers, products and qualifying spend. A marketplace-wide promotion and a supplier-specific offer may cover different parts of a basket. Compare the final cost including separate deliveries, and confirm the accepted reduction before completing an order for a gathering or a gift.
