About Reef

Reef discount codes and voucher codes are listed above. Below: what the brand makes, why the footbeds are the selling point, and what a Reef discount code covers.

About Reef

Reef is a Californian surf brand that built itself on one product category almost everyone else treated as an afterthought: the sandal. Two brothers from Argentina started it in the eighties, and the flip flop has remained the centre of the business ever since.

The insight was simple. Surfers wear sandals constantly and cheap ones are uncomfortable after an hour, so the company put real footbed engineering into something the rest of the market sold as disposable.

What they make

Flip flops and thong sandals across a wide spread, from thin travel pairs to the cushioned models with arch support that the brand is known for. Slides and sport sandals sit alongside.

Beyond sandals come casual shoes, boat and deck styles, and a smaller clothing line. Water-friendly and quick-drying constructions run through much of the range.

Why the footbed matters

A flat rubber flip flop offers no support at all, which is fine for a walk to the beach and unpleasant over a day of walking. Reef's cushioned models add arch contour and a compression-moulded footbed, and people with foot pain notice the difference immediately.

Two practical notes. Leather-topped models mould to the foot over a few wears and are worth persevering with; synthetic ones do not change. And sizing on sandals runs differently from trainers, so check the guide rather than assuming, especially where the toe post position varies between styles.

Using a Reef discount code

Choose the pair, apply the code at the checkout and confirm the total before ordering. These are listed as Reef discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.

Sandal retail is sharply seasonal in Britain, so the deepest reductions arrive at the end of summer rather than at the start of it, and buying a season ahead is the reliable saving. Sitewide percentages do appear here and are worth waiting for. Reduced lines are usually excluded from an extra reduction, and on discontinued colourways the marked-down price already beats what a code would achieve.
