About Seentat UK

Seentat is a British online electronics shop that buys through a sourcing team spread across several countries and passes the difference on, which is why its handset prices often undercut the networks.

What is stocked

Phones lead the range, mostly SIM-free and unlocked, with Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, vivo and Google well represented and new flagships appearing quickly. Around them come tablets, laptops and desktops, cameras from Canon and Sony, smartwatches including Casio's G-Shock line, headphones and earbuds, gaming from Nintendo, audio, personal care devices and the usual run of cables, cases and chargers. Everything is sold new rather than refurbished.

The phrase to look for on a phone listing

Many handsets here are described as the Global Version, and that wording is doing real work. It means a phone built for international sale rather than for one domestic market, and it is normally exactly what a UK buyer wants, since the software, languages and app store all behave as expected. What still deserves a check is the mobile band support against your own network, and whether the model carries a UK three-pin charger or a two-pin one with an adaptor in the box. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT, so the figure on the listing is the figure you pay.

Applying a code

Fill the basket, open it, and enter the code in the promotional field before you move to the payment stage, confirming the total drops. Several of the offers on this shop are threshold-based, taking a set amount off once the order passes a certain value, so a code doing nothing usually means the basket has not reached the qualifying total yet. One code goes in per order and it will not combine with a price already marked down on the product page.

Warranty, returns and buying with confidence

Goods carry a twelve-month warranty and the published returns window runs to a fortnight, which is shorter than some larger retailers offer, so unwrap and test a new device promptly rather than leaving the box until a birthday. Paying by card gives you the protection that comes with it, which is worth using on anything expensive. Discounting is steadiest on the previous generation of a handset once its replacement is announced, and the site runs wider sales across Black Friday and the January weeks.
