What you need before ordering

For strong prescriptions ask about thinner high-index lenses, as a strong prescription in a standard lens gets thick and heavy at the edges, and a smaller frame helps more than any coating. Varifocals need more care than single vision and are worth buying where you can get help if they do not settle. A sight test is a health check as much as a measurement, so keep having them even when your vision seems unchanged.
