About Speedo (US)

Speedo is the swimwear name most closely tied to competitive swimming, and the American store is a separate operation from the British one, with its own stock, its own pricing in dollars and its own promotions.
Codes do not travel between the two sites, and the ranges differ: some styles and sizes appear on one and not the other, so a search that fails on one store is worth repeating on the other only if you can order from it.

What they stock

Training and competition swimwear for women, men and children, recreational and beach swimwear, goggles across fit and lens types, caps, fins, kickboards, paddles and training aids, plus towels and bags.
The competition end of the range — technical racing suits — is priced and regulated differently from everything else, and it is the section most often held out of promotions.

Buying swim kit

Chlorine is what destroys swimwear, and it attacks the elastane rather than the fabric. Chlorine-resistant training fabrics cost more and last several times longer for anyone in the pool regularly, which makes them cheaper by the season rather than by the purchase.
Rinse a suit in cold water after every swim, never wring it, and dry it flat away from heat. Alternating two suits roughly doubles the life of both, because the elastane recovers between wears.
Goggles are chosen by face fit rather than by specification. Press a goggle to the eye socket without the strap: if it holds for a moment on suction alone, it fits. Never wipe the inside of the lens, since that is what removes the anti-fog coating.

Using a Speedo US promo code

Put the kit in the basket, enter the code at the checkout and check the total before ordering. These appear as Speedo US promo codes, discount codes and voucher codes.
Swim retail follows the season, with leisure ranges reduced after summer and training kit holding its price through the year. Technical racing suits and team orders are the usual exclusions.
