About The Jockey Club

The Jockey Club discount codes and voucher codes are listed above. What follows: what the organisation runs, how racecourse tickets are tiered, and what a Jockey Club discount code covers.

About The Jockey Club

The Jockey Club is the largest commercial operator of horse racing in Britain, running fifteen racecourses including Cheltenham, Aintree and Epsom, and staging the biggest fixtures in the calendar.
It is a commercial operator that reinvests its profits into the sport rather than distributing them, which is why the estate covers both flagship festivals and ordinary midweek meetings.

What they sell

Admission tickets across several enclosures at each course, hospitality and restaurant packages, annual memberships, and tickets to the summer concerts and non-racing events the courses host.
Enclosures are the thing to understand: the same fixture is sold at very different prices depending on which part of the course the ticket admits to.

Going racing

Choose the enclosure to suit the day rather than the budget alone. The premium enclosures give access to the parade ring, the grandstand and the better facilities, with a dress code attached; the cheaper enclosures are more relaxed, further from the finish, and perfectly good for a first visit.
Buy in advance. Gate prices are higher than advance prices at almost every course, and the big festival days sell out months ahead. Midweek fixtures are cheap, quiet and much easier for a first time than a festival.
Check the dress code and the weather. British racing is outdoors and largely on grass, so footwear matters more than anything else, and several courses publish specific requirements for their premium enclosures.
Racing is associated with betting, and betting should be treated as an expense rather than an income. Anyone whose gambling is causing difficulty can get free, confidential help from GamCare and BeGambleAware.

Using a Jockey Club discount code

Pick the fixture and the enclosure, apply the code before payment and check the total. These appear as Jockey Club discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.
Offers are usually attached to particular fixtures — often midweek or early-season meetings — rather than to the festivals, which sell out at full price. Hospitality packages, memberships and concert tickets are normally excluded.
