About AATU

AATU is a British pet food brand built around single-source recipes: a high proportion of one named meat or fish, with the remainder made up of fruit, vegetables, herbs and botanicals rather than a long list of cereals.
It sells dry and wet food for dogs and cats direct from its own site, mainly on a repeating order, with the discount structured to reward staying on the plan rather than buying once.

What the range covers

Dry complete foods for dogs and cats in several proteins — salmon, duck, chicken, lamb and others — plus wet food in trays and pouches, treats, and grain-free and light formulations.
Recipes are grouped by protein rather than by breed, which suits owners managing a food sensitivity, since a single named protein is easier to test with than a mixed one.

Feeding a single-protein food

The percentage on the front of the bag refers to the meat content of the recipe, and it is the main thing separating one price tier from another in this part of the market. Higher meat content generally means a denser food and a smaller daily portion, so compare on cost per day rather than per kilogram.
Owners usually come to single-protein food to work out what is upsetting an animal. That only works if one thing changes at a time: keep treats and chews on the same protein while testing, or the result means nothing.
Introduce it over a week, mixed into the current food in rising proportions. This page is not veterinary advice, and a suspected allergy, a skin condition or persistent digestive trouble is a matter for the vet rather than for a change of bag.

Using an AATU discount code

Set the order up, enter the code before payment, and confirm the figure that will be charged now and the one that applies afterwards. These appear as AATU discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.
Subscription offers here run largest on the first order and settle to a lower standing rate on subsequent ones. Trial products are usually excluded, and the plan continues until it is paused or cancelled.
