About Badlands Ranch

Badlands Ranch sells air-dried dog food and supplements direct, positioned at the premium end of the category, with a high meat content and a short ingredient list as the proposition.
Air drying is the point of difference from kibble. The food is dried slowly at low temperature rather than cooked under pressure, which keeps it dense and means it is fed in much smaller portions.

What they sell

Air-dried complete foods in several protein varieties, treats, and supplements covering areas such as skin, coat and general condition, sold as one-off purchases and on subscription.
Bag sizes look small next to kibble because the feeding quantity is small, which is the thing to hold in mind when comparing prices.

Comparing premium dog food honestly

Compare cost per day, never cost per bag. Air-dried food is fed in a fraction of the volume of kibble, so a bag that looks expensive can work out closer than it appears — and sometimes still considerably more expensive. Read the feeding guide for your dog's weight and do the arithmetic before deciding.
Read the ingredient panel in order. Ingredients are listed by weight, and the first three tell you most of what you need to know. A named meat first is what the premium price is buying.
Change food gradually over about a week, mixing rising proportions of the new into the old. Rich food introduced suddenly upsets a dog's stomach, and the food then gets blamed.
Supplements are feed products, not medicines, and they treat nothing. None of this is veterinary advice: a dog with a diagnosed condition, an allergy or on a prescription diet should not be switched without asking the vet first.

Using a Badlands Ranch promo code

Choose the bag size, apply the code at the checkout and check the total and any recurring charge before ordering. These appear as Badlands Ranch promo codes, discount codes and coupon codes.
Subscription pricing carries a standing reduction that usually cannot take a code on top, so compare a code on a single order against the subscription rate before deciding.
