About BiGDUG UK

BiGDUG discount codes and voucher codes are listed above. Below is what the company supplies and how to size shelving correctly the first time.

About BiGDUG

BiGDUG sells storage and workplace equipment, mainly to businesses — warehouses, workshops, offices and schools — though plenty of the range ends up in garages and lofts. It describes itself as the UK's number one storage specialist, and the catalogue backs the claim up in breadth: this is a supplier for people who need forty metres of shelving, not a shelf.

What they supply

Shelving is the core — industrial, garage, wall-mounted and retail variants — alongside racking systems including pallet, cantilever and vertical storage. Around that: handling and access equipment (trolleys, lifts, ladders), workshop kit (workbenches, tool storage, matting), packaging materials, storage boxes and parts bins, lockers and cupboards including hazardous-material cabinets, office and classroom furniture, and premises supplies such as safety equipment, waste management and cleaning machines.

Getting the shelving right first time

Two numbers decide most of this: load per shelf and total bay height. Work out the heaviest thing you will actually put on a shelf, then buy for that rather than for the average — shelving is rated per level, not per bay. Measure your ceiling height before ordering, allowing for the lighting and any sprinkler heads.

If you are lining a wall, buy starter and extension bays rather than several starter bays. Extension bays share uprights with the bay next door, which costs less and takes up less floor.

Trade accounts and delivery

Next-day delivery is available on much of the range, there is a price-match policy, and credit accounts are available for business customers. For larger fit-outs they offer design and installation rather than leaving you with a pallet of steel.

Using a BiGDUG discount code

Add items to your basket and apply the code at checkout, confirming the total updates before payment. On heavy or bulky goods, check how delivery is calculated — for racking and long-span shelving it is often quoted separately, and a code applied to goods will not touch it.
