About Europcar_AU NZ

Europcar Australia and New Zealand promo codes are listed above. This page covers the Australian and New Zealand operation rather than the British one, and codes issued for one country's site will not work on another's.

Which operation this is

Europcar runs its regions as separate businesses with separate websites, fleets and promotions. A code from the UK site will be refused here and the reverse is equally true, which is the most frequent reason a valid-looking code fails at the last step.

If you are hiring a car in Britain, use the UK page. This one is for pick-ups in Australia and New Zealand, priced in local dollars.

What hiring here involves

Branches sit at the major airports and in city centres across both countries, with the fleet covering everything from small hatchbacks to people carriers, four-wheel drives and commercial vans.

Australian and New Zealand hire has its own conventions worth knowing before booking. One-way fees between distant cities are substantial given the distances involved, and some remote or unsealed roads are excluded from the hire terms altogether, which can invalidate cover rather than simply costing extra.

Booking from abroad

Long-haul visitors should check three things. An international driving permit may be required alongside a licence depending on the licence's language. Age surcharges apply to younger drivers and are charged at the desk rather than at booking.

Excess reduction is the big one. The default excess on hire in these markets is high, and buying reduction at the counter costs several times a standalone annual policy bought before travelling. Decide before you fly rather than under pressure at the desk after a long flight.

Using a Europcar Australia promo code

Select the branch and the dates, enter the code at the booking stage and confirm the total before payment. These appear as Europcar promo codes, discount codes and coupon codes.

Offers here attach to booking windows and travel dates rather than running continuously, which is why each one reads as a pair of date ranges: when you must book, and when you must travel. Codes normally reduce the vehicle rate only, leaving extras such as additional drivers and child seats at full price.
