About Purr and Mutt

Purr and Mutt is a British pet brand selling supplements, treats and care products for dogs and cats, direct rather than through pet superstores.
The range is built around specific concerns — joints, coat, calm, digestion — rather than around complete feeding, so most of what it sells is added to a diet rather than replacing one.

What they sell

Chews, powders and oils covering joint support, skin and coat, calming, dental and digestive health, plus treats, grooming products and accessories.
Products are sold in month-sized quantities and on subscription, since supplements of this kind are given daily over a long period rather than occasionally.

Judging a pet supplement

Read the amount of the active per serving and compare it against the dog's weight band. Many products in this category contain recognisable ingredients at quantities too small to do anything, and the quantity is stated on the label even when it is not on the front.
Give it long enough. Joint and coat supplements are assessed over two to three months, which is also why they are sold in multi-month packs; judging after two weeks tells you nothing either way.
Weight and body condition do more for a dog's joints than any supplement, and dental chews do not replace tooth brushing. Those are unglamorous facts and they are worth stating before spending money on the alternative.
Supplements are feed products, not veterinary medicines, and they treat nothing. Nothing here is veterinary advice: limping, itching, weight loss or a change in behaviour is a matter for a vet, and an animal already on prescribed medication should not be given supplements without asking first.

Using a Purr and Mutt discount code

Pick the product and the size, enter the code at the checkout and confirm the total before ordering. These appear as Purr and Mutt discount codes, voucher codes and promo codes.
Subscription pricing carries its own standing reduction and usually cannot take a code on top, so compare the cost per month both ways. Bundles and multi-packs are priced as a set for the same reason.
