About Ryman

Ryman has been a fixture of the British high street since the 1890s and remains one of the few stationers still trading with a national shop estate alongside a website.

The customer is split between the office and the household: someone replacing printer ink on a Tuesday afternoon, and someone buying a term's worth of school equipment in September. The range serves both, and the seasonal peaks are obvious in the offers.

What they sell

Stationery in the proper sense: pens, notebooks, diaries, folders, files, paper and the desk items that go with them. Printer ink and toner is a substantial part of the business, as are labels and packaging.

Beyond that sit office furniture and chairs, printers, shredders and calculators, technology accessories, and in-store print and copy services including business cards, posters and binding.

Where to buy and where not to

Convenience is what a high street stationer sells, and it is worth paying for on the day you need something now. On a bulk order of paper or a multipack of ink, an office supplies wholesaler will usually undercut it.

The exception is the print and copy service, where the comparison is not with another shop but with owning the equipment. For one poster or fifty bound documents, that counter is the cheap option by a distance.

Using a Ryman discount code

Assemble the order, put the code into the promotion field and check the total before you pay. These are listed as Ryman discount codes, promotional codes and voucher codes.

Stationery retail runs on multibuy and spend thresholds rather than deep percentages, and the two mechanics rarely combine. Ink and toner are the category most often excluded, because the margin is thin and the manufacturers control the pricing. Back-to-school and new-year diary seasons carry the strongest offers, and clearance on last year's dated products beats any code once January passes.
